The OVIUM is located at 500 m altitude, next to the Djerdap National Park and in proximity of the Danube river. In the tri-border region between Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria the climate is influence at one side by the Danube river, and got a mediterrenean influence on the other side. The fauna and flora consist of Balkan typical animals and breeds, the flora of rare herbs and plants.
Untouched flowery meadows invite bees and butterflies to feast.
Beside to be the home of many turtles it is also hosts the alps bock beetle. The variations of light and shade invite body and soul to relaxe.
Our farm is located appr. 2 hours from the airport in Niš, and 2,5 hours from the airport in Belgrade.
You can visit our farm any time. Because we are located in the mountain’s, with no paved roads, you are advised to contact us first, so we can pick you up at the village.
